Film week celebrates National Sea and Islands Week 2013

A film week will be held nationwide from 17 - 23 June to celebrate the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong 2013 and the National Sea and Islands Week 2013.

Accordingly, 2 movies entitled “Giai Han” (Relief of Bad Luck) and “Dam Me” (Passion), along with 2 scientific films named “Nhung Dong Song Keu Cuu” (Rivers Are Calling For Help) and “O Nhiem Bien” (Polluted Sea), will be screened during this period.

The event will be co-organised by the Cinema Department, the Viet Nam Feature Film Studio, the Film No1 Joint Stock Company, and the Viet Nam Central Scientific and Documentary Film Studio.

Following approval by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 330 DVDs of the film “Giai Han” will be distributed to mobile cinemas in 63 provinces and cities nationwide to serve their residents.  In addition, Hai Phong’s film lovers will have the opportunity to meet with the authors, directors, actors and actresses of the films which will be shown during the film week.

In Da Nang, local people can enjoy these films free at the Le Do Cinema, 46 Tran Phu Street.
