Photo exhibition about AO victims to open on 23 July
A photo exhibition entitled “The Effects of Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice” will take place at the Museum of Da Nang, 24 Tran Phu Street, between 23 July and 12 August.
Co-organised by the city’s Association of AO Victims and local relevant agencies, the exhibition will feature around 60 photos of AO victims nationwide. In addition, the displays will showcase efforts to deal with the effects that the chemical warfare using Agent Orange has had on the lives of Vietnamese people, the journey to seek justice for Vietnamese AO victims, the victims’ determination to overcome their fates, the kind-hearted support from nationwide donors, and the combined efforts to relieve their pain.
In addition, the exhibition will reflect the worthwhile activities of the War Veterans' Association, the Youth Union Organisation and the Association of AO Victims in the city in helping local victims.
Apart from photos, on display will also be 40 precious artifacts from the war years. All the photos and artifacts have been provided by individuals and organisations nationwide.
