Film festival for Viet Nam's National Day
The Da Nang Cinema and Film Distribution Centre will run a festival of Vietnamese films at the city’s Le Do Cinema, 46 Tran Phu Street, from 17 August to 4 September. The event will be part of the celebrations to mark the 68th anniversary of Viet Nam’s August Revolution (19 August) and National Day (2 September).
The Vietnamese films and documentaries to be shown are “Chop Mat Cung So Phan” (Fated Moment), “Ho Chi Minh Chan Dung Mot Con Nguoi” (Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of A Man), and “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa Noi Ghi Dau Hon Thieng Dat Viet” (Hoang Sa and Truong Sa– Places Embedded with Viet Nam’s Sacred Soul).
In addition, the films “Hoai Vu Trang” (White Dance), “Hoang Sa, Truong Sa Noi Ghi Dau Hon Thieng Dat Viet”, and “Cam Co To Quoc Tren Bien Dong” (Placing the National Flag in the East Sea) will be shown at the city’s naval establishments and at communities in remote areas during this period.
