As part of the celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam-Japan diplomatic ties, a bilateral cultural exchange programme took place at Da Nang’s Trung Vuong Theatre last Saturday.

Organised by the city’s Union of Friendship Organisations, the event drew a great deal of attention from Japanese nationals who are living and working in the city, domestic and foreign visitors, and local residents.

The event featured a wide range of activities exchanging the cultures of Viet Nam and Japan.  These included a drawing competition for primary school pupils, calligraphy, origami, and music and cuisine exchanges for school pupils and university students.
