The 2013 Futsal football tournament for the DRT-Biere Larue Cup ended on Sunday afternoon with an exciting final match between Hoang Thu and last year’s champions Kim Toan FC. 

Hoang Thu’s players took control of most of the game and scored 3 goals in the second half.  However, Hoang Thu’s loose defence provided their rivals with the opportunity to fight back from 0-3 down, and Kim Toan finally equalised in the last few minutes.  This took the game into a penalty shoot-out, which Kim Toan FC won 3-2.

Kim Toan FC therefore successfully defended their champions status, with Hoang Thu taking the silver medal.  Hoang Hung Thinh came third and VLT finished in 4^th place.

In addition, Kim Toan FC received the fair play award, their player Nguyen Hai Duong won the best goalkeeper award, with Dao Trung Hieu, also from their team, the top goalscorer with 14 goals.  Tran Vinh Trung from Hoang Thu was named the most outstanding player.
