Viet Nam qualified for Asian football tourney's finals
Viet Nam claimed a convincing victory over Australia on October 7, successfully taking berth to the final round of the U19 Asian football tournament.
Under the guidance of French coach Guilleme Graechen, Viet Nam’s U19 squad defeated Australian rivals 5 -1 in Malaysia, leading Group F to enter the finals after consecutive wins against Hong Kong and Taiwan (China).
Viet Nam finished the first half with three scores by Cong Phuong, Thanh Tung and Van Toan in the 8th, 17th and 44th minute, while Australian players scored only one goal.
Vietnamese footballers entered the second half with attach tactics that helped them earn two more scores at the 55th and 70th minute after Le Van Son and Cong Phuong who opened the scoring in the first half.
No more goals in the last minutes fixed the final score at 5-1 in favour Viet Nam.
