Activities to mark Cultural Heritage Day
As part of the celebrations to mark Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (23 November), 4 exhibitions and an arts performance are being held at the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture from now until 2 December.
In detail, a display from the Ninh Thuan Research Centre for Champa Culture showcases a collection of 200 valuable Champa items made of pottery, porcelain, and terra-cotta.
There are also exhibitions of 50 ceramic works and oil paintings by artist Dang Nang Tho, and the 100 winning photos from the recent Viet Nam Heritage Photo Awards 2013 competition.

Finally, there is an exhibition of maps relating to Viet Nam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
Throughout the period, artisans from Ninh Thuan Province’s Bau Truc Pottery Village will be demonstrating their skills.
