Becamex Binh Duong defeated U23 Viet Nam in the November 3 final at Go Dau stadium to claim the championship title of the 2013 Binh Duong Television International Football Tournament (BTV Cup 2013).

The hosts played offensively right from the start, putting pressure on their opponents’ defensive line. U23 Viet Nam countered, however with powerful strikes on goal.

Both teams were unable to convert any of their first-half chances, and the match remained scoreless through the early stages of the second half.

Late in the second half, Becamex Binh Duong regained momentum, launching wave after wave of marauding attacks into the U23 Viet Nam half.

Thanks to their ironclad determination and vast competitive experience, the hosts took the lead in the 87^th minute, when striker Abass passed the ball to midfielder Tang Tuan, who slotted home.

The match’s only goal sealed the 1-0 result, lifting Becamex Binh Duong to their second consecutive championship title at the annual BTV Cup.
