Journey for Viet Nam's Aspiration launched in the city
The 2013 Journey for Viet Nam’s Aspiration programme was launched at Da Nang’s University of Technology on Wednesday. Co-organised by the Central Viet Nam Youth Union and the Trung Nguyen Corporation, the launch featured a “Future Creation” competition and a musical performance.
Six local teams took part - from the University of Technology, the University of Economics, the College of Foreign Languages, the University of Education, the Duy Tan University and the University of Architecture. The participating teams’ ideas truly reflected the efforts and passion of local students, as well as demonstrated their dedication and aspirations for youth enrichment.

In particular, the “Flexible Pick Up and Drop Off Vehicle Rental System” project from the University of Economics left a strong impression on the competition judges. The system aims to offer vehicle rental at a reasonable price, and to meet the travel requirements of foreign backpackers who want to discover the beauty of Da Nang, Hoi An and Quang Nam Province.
The event’s musical show was attended by over 1,000 local students.
To mark the launch, the organising board presented 15,000 Start-Up Nation books and 6,000 copies of “Think and Grow Rich” to local students.
