Over the past 17 years, the competition has attracted a great deal of attention from local school students and education staff.  They have become actively involved in the event, and gained remarkable achievements.  It has also had a positive impact on local school sports initiatives over the years.

The Principal of Pham Phu Thu Senior High School, Mr Pham Ba Hao, said that the event has attracted many local school students, and it has helped to raise their self-awareness about the importance of improving physical health.
