As part of the celebrations for the 40^th anniversary of Viet Nam-Japan diplomatic ties, SHB Da Nang will play an international friendly match against Vonds Ichihara from Japan at the Chi Lang Stadium at 3pm on Sunday. 

The match will give the SHB DN players the opportunity to review their preparations for the new football season.  Admission to the match is free, and the organisers will appeal for donations from the fans and players to help local victims affected by the recent flooding, especially those who are social policy beneficiaries.

Japan’s Vonds Ichihara club

To express their deep gratitude to Da Nang fans, the Japanese club will present club T-shirts to the first 100 spectators to enter the stadium.

Founded in 1967, this Japanese football club was named Furukawa Electric Chiba SC.  In 2008, it was renamed SAI Ichihara.  From 2011, the club has been called Vonds Ichihara.  In the 1989-90 season it won the Chiba Cup.
