Two out of three Vietnamese wrestlers brought home two gold medals in Myanmar on December 9, following their Wushu artists’ impressive performance.

Tran Van Tuong, 66kg, defeated his Lao rival 5-0 in the men’s classic to bag a gold medal, while his teammate Doi Dang Tien, 55kg, overwhelmingly outplayed her Thai rival Krisada 7-0 in the women’s classic.

Another Vietnamese wrestler Pham Sy Thu only took a bronze medal in the 60kg weight category.

Earlier the same day, Wushu artists Nguyen Thi Chinh and Nguyen Thu Hoai won two more golds, bringing to four the number of the gold medals Vietnamese Wushu artists have earned.
