SHB DN confident about tomorrow's match
After their 3-0 away win over QNK Quang Nam last weekend, SHB Da Nang next play at home to Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) at 4.30pm tomorrow, Saturday 19 April.
SHB DN’s coach Le Huynh Duc and his squad should not need to worry too much about the power of their rivals due to their unimpressive results in recent away games. HAGL had a 5-3 win over QNK Quang on 16 February, but they could only manage a 2-2 away draw against Dong Tam Long An on 26 January. Then they suffered a 2-3 loss to Quang Ninh on 21 February, and also a 2-3 defeat to Dong Nai on 23 March.
However, SHB DN's main worry is their opponents’ strong squad as they are expected to field their strike duo of Felix O Ogbuke and Anjembe Timothy, naturalised players Nguyen Hoang Helio and Doan Van Sakda, and goalkeeper Bassey Akpan.

In addition, SHB DN are likely to face difficulties as outstanding striker Gaston Merlo has had his contract terminated due to his long-term injuries, whilst striker Bojan Mamic has yet to meet the requirements of the coaching board. In addition, there appears to have been a significant decrease recently in the physical strength of midfielder Quoc Anh and defender Hung Son. Minh Phuong is getting old, and injured Nguyen Sa has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
As a result, coach Duc has stressed the need for his players to make fast and perfect combinations, and take advantage of their long shots in order to take control of the game and produce a breathtaking performance.
