Viet Nam’s Olympic football team topped group H with six points after beating Kyrgyzstan 1-0 on September 22 at the ongoing 17^th Asian Games (ASIAD) in Incheon, the Republic of Korea.

Striker Vu Minh Tuan scored the only goal for Viet Nam from a penalty shot in the 63^rd of the match after Kyrgyzstan midfielder Baimatov touched the ball by his hand in the box.

Earlier, Viet Nam made a landslides victory 4-1 over Iran on September 17.

With this result, Viet Nam officially won a ticket in the knock-out round of the Games and will meet rivals from United Arab Emirates (UAE), who finished second in group G, on September 25.
