The 2014 Da Nang Open Futsal tournament for the DRT Cup ended on Wednesday afternoon with an exciting final match between Hoang Thu from Da Nang and Sanatech from Ho Chi Minh City.  Hoang Thu were crowned the champions after defeating Sanatech 3-2.  NP Co finished in 3^nd place and Hoang Anh Tho came 4^th. 

Apart from the local futsal teams, teams from Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Khanh Hoa and Binh Thuan participated in this year’s tournament.  These teams are well-known for their successes in national futsal tournaments.  However, Hoang Thu’s tournament win shows the significant progress of local futsal clubs over recent years.

Thanks to their positive results, Hoang Thu and Kim Toan have been selected by the Viet Nam Football Federation to represent Da Nang in the 2015 Futsal V-League.  This will be a good opportunity for the local futsal players to improve their skills as they will face strong rival teams.
