The 2014 National Top Teams Table Tennis Tournament successfully ended on Sunday afternoon with 7 exciting final matches.

The 4-day event took place at the city’s Phan Chau Trinh Sports Club, and 100 players from 18 teams across the country took part.  They competed in singles and men’s, women’s and mixed doubles categories.

The team from the Truong Tuan Company were crowned the champions in the men’s team category after defeating their rivals from the Thanh Hoa Club.  Meanwhile, the Dong Nai Club beat the Premiership Da Nang Club to win the women’s team category.  Players Le Phuoc Huy and Dang Le Anh Phuong from Da Nang took silver medals in the mixed doubles category.  In addition their compatriots from Da Nang, Tran Ngoc Tri and Do Huu Quoc, received bronze medals in the men’s double category.  The Da Nang Club and the Premiership Da Nang Club also bagged the bronze medals in the men's and women’s team categories.
