The finals of the 2014 Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper U21 Football Tournament are taking place in Can Tho City from 2 to 12 October.

After the draw, the hosts Can Tho and SHB Da Nang, Sana Khanh Hoa BVN and TDCS Dong Thap are in Group A, whilst Group B comprises Vinh Long, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Song Lam Nghe An, and Ha Noi T&T.  They will compete in a round-robin format with the teams finishing first and second in each group going through to the semi-finals on 9 and 10 October.  The final matches will be held on 12 October.

This afternoon (2 October), the opening match of the finals was Can Tho vs Sana Khanh Hoa BVN.  It is followed by the match between SHB Da Nang and TDCS Dong Thap.
