Viet Nam held China to a 1-1 draw in the the last group C match at the Asian Football Confederation U19 Championship in Yangon, Myanmar, on October 13.

Midfielder Hoang Thanh Tung scored a goal for Viet Nam in the 20 minute.

However, Tang Shi equalised the match in the 86 minutes.

With the draw, China had five points to rank second in Group C. Japan ranked first with six points.

Viet Nam’s U19 football team had a bad start at the championship, losing 0-6 to the RoK on October 9 and later 1 – 3 to Japan on October 11.
