An artistic photo contest, which took “Panoramic Views of Da Nang” as its theme, was launched on 12 June.  By the end of November, the contest’s organisers had received a total of 2,295 entries from 227 amateur and professional photographers who are living either in Viet Nam or abroad.

Entries from the contest are scheduled to be judged publicly at the meeting hall of the city’s Union of Literature and Arts Associations on 19 and 20 December. Under the contest’s rules, each member of the judging board will evaluate the entries with the help of specialised online software for judging photos.

The awards ceremony and an exhibition of the prize-winning photos will be held in front of the municipal People’s Committee headquarters on Bach Dang Street on 11 January 2015.
