A ceremony to turn on the Christmas tree lights at the Furama Resort Danang took place last Friday evening to mark the beginning of the resort’s festive season.  The resort’s General Manager, Mr Matthias Wiesmann, said that visitors to the resort will have the opportunity to enjoy joyful and peaceful festive moments with their families and friends.

During the festive season, various large-scale events and attractive recreational activities will be held at the resort.  In particular, a New Year Eve Party, which has “Viet Nam Folk Night” as its theme, will take place at the resort on 31^st December to welcome in 2015.  The event will showcase the traditional fine values of Vietnamese culture through the re-creation of some images of a communal house, rice fields and lotus ponds.  In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy lyrical melodies with Vietnamese folk songs and Western symphony music performed by singer Au Bao Ngan, who participated in the Voice 2013 singing contest, and X-Factor 2014’s mixed-race singer Sevinch (her mother is Vietnamese and her father is from Azerbaijan).
