First-ever graphic paintings exhibition open now
The first-ever Da Nang Exhibition of Graphic Paintings is taking place at the Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan Street until 20 December. Organised by the city’s graphic paintings club, the event is seen as a happy sign for the local development of the art of graphic painting, especially as this art type has yet to gain widespread popularity in the city.
The exhibition displays over 60 impressive graphic paintings from a number of local artists. Many of the works on display have participated in national fine arts exhibitions and received high appreciation from the general public. The works highlight a wide range of subjects, which reflect all aspects of contemporary life. They are made from many different kinds of materials, and feature various graphical techniques including modern wood carving, metal engraving, and graphic design.
