The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced a wide range of cultural and sporting activities that will take place across the city to welcome in New Year 2015 and the Tet Festival in February.

A classical guitar concert to welcome in 2015, entitled “Da Nang Guitar Concert”, will take place at 8.00pm on 19 December at the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre, 155 Phan Chau Trinh Street.

Local cinema-goers can enjoy Vietnamese Tet films at the Le Do Cinema, 46 Tran Phu Street between 24 December 2014 and 2 January 2015, and 17 and 26 February 2015.  During the period, the Cinema and Film Distribution Centre’s mobile team will screen the films at local military units and schools, as well as in remote areas.
