On display will be various types of colourful spring flowers such as apricot, sunflower, cymbidium hybrid and althaea rosea.  Visiting the displays of beautiful flowers will be like stepping into a magical world.

An artistic talent competition entitled “Spring and Youth” will be held on the evening of 24 February (the 6th day of the 1st lunar month).

A fascinating display of bonsai, ornamental plants, miniatures and decorated stones and rockeries will also be organised at the park during the period.

In addition, children visiting the park will have an opportunity to compete in the interesting Spring Painting Contest for Kids.

Also during Tet, water puppetry lovers will be treated to fascinating performances such as “Thach Sanh Danh Tran Tinh” (Thach San Defeats the Monstrous Python), “Thanh Giong” (Saint Giong) and “Mua Xuan Oi” (Dear Spring).

There will also be other exciting cultural activities such as a comedy play entitled “ Nu Cuoi Xuan” (Spring Smile),  musical performances, a poetry reading, “ bai choi” (singing while acting as playing cards), human chess games, and Quang Nam Province’s traditional martial arts.

The Green Trees-Park Company and the Museum of Da Nang will jointly organise an exhibition entitled “Xuan Tren Bien” (Spring Comes to the Sea) at the park.  On display will be items used in fishing activities.

Of special note, local senior citizens will have the chance to participate in a health strengthening exercise show entitled “Live Happily, Healthily and Usefully” at the park.
