The 100-minute film, shot by the Viet Nam Cinema Association, features revolutionary activities undertaken the late President, who was at the time known under the name Nguyen Ai Quoc, in Thailand during 1928-1929.

The film week, which will run from January 30 to February 15 nationwide by the Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, contributes to further popularising the nation’s history, culture as well as national sovereign and territorial integrity, said Ngo Phuong Lan, head of the Department.

On this occasion, “Nguoi Tinh Nguyen” (The Volunteers) will be also screened, exclusively for ethnic minority people in far-flung areas and islands.

The opening ceremonies will be held in Ha Noi on January 30 and the northern province of Cao Bang on February 2.
