New DVD about Da Nang released
A DVD entitled “Tinh Yeu Da Nang” (The Love for Da Nang) was released last Friday by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The release of 5,000 copies of this DVD aims to further publicise songs about the city.
This is the second DVD about Da Nang to have been released in the city since its liberation on 29 March 1975. The first, called “Song Han Tinh Yeu Cua Toi” (My Love for the Han River), debuted in 2005.

The new DVD features 10 songs selected from a contest in late 2013 to encourage more songs to be written about Da Nang.
The songs celebrate the land and the people of Da Nang, and highlight the city’s great potential and strengths. They are performed by famous domestic singers including Kasim Hoang Vu, My Linh and Anh Tho.
The DVD has received high praise from musical experts for its special design and the outstanding tones, remixes and performances of its songs.
The DVD shows many impressive scenes of the city which reflect its rapid growth over recent years, the poetic beauty of the Han River, and amazing local tourist attractions like the Marble Mountains and the Ba Na-Nui Chua Nature Reserve.
In particular, the well-designed cover of the DVD also highlights the city’s distinctive characteristics.
