SHB Da Nang have now lost 4 of their first 5 V-League matches, and have gained just 1 point from their 1-1 draw against Ha Noi T&T last Wednesday.  Currently, they remain rooted to the bottom of the table.

SHB DN’s coach Le Huynh Duc said that he was completely responsible for these defeats.

SHB DN’s new strikers Melquiades Gomez and Anto Pejic have yet to fully fill the gaps left by former strikers Merlo and Bernardo.  The new strike duo has so far not produced the perfect combination which coach Duc and local fans would have expected after a total of 400 minutes playing together.

Some of the team’s senior players, such as Minh Phuong, Phuoc Vinh, Vu Phong and Quoc Anh, are showing their age, whilst the youngsters have yet to meet the requirements of their coach.  For example, 18-year-old defender Ychaly Eban played in the last 2 games, against Ha Noi T&T and Hoang Anh Gia Lai, but he failed to stop opponents from attacking on the left side.
