Da Nang Newspaper releases its Tet magazine
A special printed edition to welcome in the upcoming Tet Festival was officially released today (5 February) by the Da Nang Newspaper.
The 112-page, Vietnamese language Tet magazine boasts a special design and intriguing content, and it shows the joyful Tet atmosphere reaching every corner of the city.
In the spotlight are this year’s plans to develop Da Nang into a civilised and dynamic city, along with the key policies for making the city an attractive destination for new domestic and international visitors.

The publication also features suggestions from local experts, leaders of local agencies and ex-pats living in the city about identifying the criteria, imbued with national cultural identity, for building a cultural and civilised urban lifestyle in the city.
There are also well-written articles about the city’s remarkable achievements during its renovation progress, along with the distinctive characteristics of the land and people of Da Nang.
In particular, the Tet issue also highlights stories about local resident’s special love for Viet Nam’s sea and islands, and those who are actively involved in safeguarding its legitimate sovereignty and territorial integrity.
There are some intriguing stories featuring time-honoured Tet customs, family reunions, and the love of overseas Vietnamese for their joyful Tet celebrations in their hometown.
Furthermore, the edition covers the lives of talented writers from the city and Quang Nam Province who were born in previous years of the Goat. Most notably, the image of the Goat in literature and art is also mentioned in the publication.
