In an effort to create a bustling atmosphere for the 2015 Da Nang International Fireworks Competition (DIFC 2015), the 2015 Da Nang International Culture and Cuisine Festival will take place in a park near the city’s Administration Centre from 25-28 April.

This will be the 2^nd time that the city has hosted this event which aims to introduce local residents and visitors to the distinctive cultures and cuisines of the 5 teams participating in DIFC 2015.  They are the USA, Poland, South Africa, Australia, and the home team Da Nang-Viet Nam.

With their special and eye-catching designs, the 5 stands at the event will help to highlight the cultural images of the participating countries, as well as introduce the nations’ traditional dishes.  These dishes will be prepared by chefs from the city’s prestigious hotels, restaurants and service providers.

In addition, local residents and visitors will have a chance to enjoy delicious dishes from Thailand, Spain, Italia and Japan, as well as high-grade ice cream from France, Germany and the USA.

Also at the festival, there will be a wide range of attractive cultural activities. They include face painting by members of the Da Nang Fine Arts Club, Henna and portrait drawings, cosplay performances, mini games, origami, a 'photos for fun' shooting area, folk games, a speed eating competition, and fascinating nightly arts performaces.
