The International Vietbuild Exhibition 2015 and a photo exhibition featuring Da Nang’s socio-economic achievements over the past 40 years are taking place at the International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street until 26 April.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet remarked that the event is playing a vital role in marking a milestone in the city’s progress over the past 40 years.  In addition, it firmly proves the high level of consensus between the city’s leaders and local residents in helping the city to make significant multi-faceted achievements.

The photo exhibition aims to introduce to local residents and investors, including domestic and foreign businesses, the city’s great potentials and strengths, its remarkable achievements during its progress, and its international integration.  The focus is also on praising the dynamism and creativity of local departments, agencies and businesses in the context of industrialisation, modernisation and global integration.

On the same day, a seminar entitled “Sustainable Development of the Building Materials Industry in the Central Region and Highlands” was held at the International Exhibition Fair Centre.
