SHB DN's convincing win
Matches in the 11th round of Viet Nam’s top-tier V-League 2015 took place at stadiums across the country last weekend.
SHB Da Nang convincingly defeated Dong Thap 3-1 in Saturday afternoon’s match at the city’s Chi Lang Stadium.
SHB DN made a confident start, but their striker Gomez and midfielder Huy Toan missed scoring chances in the 4th and 11th minutes. In the 26th minute, they were awarded a penalty after Dong Thap’s midfielder Van Moc tried to prevent a shot by SHB DN’s Hoang Quang in the penalty area. Huy Toan took the penalty kick and midfielder Phuoc Vinh headed the rebound into the goal to open the scoring for the home team.

In the 40th minute, visiting striker Samson Kpenosen’s direct shot at goal levelled the score at 1-1.
Two minutes later, SHB DN’s midfielder Ngoc Thang scored SHB DN's second after latching on to an accurate pass from striker Gomez.
Then, in first-half stoppage time, striker Gomez scored the third from outside the penalty area, and gave his team a convincing win.
In the weekend’s other games, Ha Noi T&T beat Hoang Anh Gia Lai 4-3 at the Hang Day Stadium, whilst Quang Ninh managed a 3-3 home draw against Sanna Khanh Hoa. Can Tho played out a thrilling 2-2 away draw to Song Lam Nghe An, Dong Nai managed a goalless home draw against Dong Tam Long An, and QNK Quang Nam were also held to a 0-0 draw at home against Thanh Hoa.
The final match of the 11th round, Binh Duong v Hai Phong, is taking place at 5.00pm today 27 April at the Binh Duong Stadium.
SHB DN now lie in 8th place in the league and will next play at home to Quang Ninh at 5.00pm on Saturday 2 May.
