On Tuesday evening, the first contestants arrived in the city for the fireworks competition (DIFC 2015), the Pyrotecnico team from the USA.

The team has 6 members, led by Douglass Kenneth Aller, and all of them were delighted to be returning to the city to take part in the competition again.  The US team leader said that all the members of the teams may know and make friends with each other because they have taken part in this event for many years.

Soon afterwards, the Fireworks for Africa team from South Africa also arrived.  The team’s spokesman, Mr Lee Foggilt, said that his 6-member team is participating in this event for the first time and they are all very excited.  Mr Foggilt arrived in Da Nang last week, and spent time learning about the land and people of the city.  He said he loves the city very much because it boasts wonderful residents and beautiful beaches. 

He hopes that his team will work hard to thrill spectators with their spectacular fireworks performance.  He also noted that his team is South Africa’s most outstanding team and is expected to produce a show with excellent choreography and enchanting support music.
