A Viet Nam-Laos cultural and cuisine exchange programme was recently held in Da Nang on the occasion of their traditional Bunpimay New Year festival, which takes place from 13-15 April every year. 

The event was jointly organised by the city’s branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association, the Laos Consulate General in Da Nang, and the municipal Women’s Union.

The programme featured many attractive musical performances which highly praised the special traditional friendship between the two countries.

Also at the event, the participants had an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese and Laotian culinary arts through their processing methods and the pleasant texture of their delicious traditional dishes.
