The 20^th Da Nang Badminton Tournament is taking place at the Tien Son Sports Arena from 14 - 17 May.  Participating at this year’s tournament are around 600 players from 27 badminton clubs in Da Nang and the provinces of Quang Nam and Quang Ngai.

The contestants have been divided into 10 age groups and they will all compete in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles categories except for the U15 group which will compete in singles matches for boys and girls.

Although the competition is for members of local area clubs, some of those members are outstanding players from across the country.  There are even ex-pats who are either working or studying in Da Nang but come from India, China, Laos, Malaysia and Cambodia.
