Running from 26 April until late September, the Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2015 will feature a wide range of interesting activities which are expected to attract between 50,000 and 60,000 beachgoers every day.
Mr Ngo Van Phuong from Nghe An Province said that Da Nang was attractive to him and his friends due to the various exciting activities being held at the Eastern Sea Park. They had visited some local popular tourist attractions, and went swimming at some of the local beaches. In addition, they had taken part in the 2nd kayak race named “Vuot Song My Khe” (Journey from the Fall of My Khe Beach) on 26 April. This was the most memorable experience they had had in the city.

The Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches, Mr Nguyen Duc Vu, said that the opening weekend of the city’s beach tourism season featured over 20 interesting entertainment activities in which both local residents and visitors could partake. These had helped to give them memorable moments in Da Nang.
In addition to the annual sports activities, this year’s programme offers many new services to visitors. They are 5-star free public toilets and entertainment areas, plus a pontoon bridge which has been installed on the beach in front of the Holiday Beach Danang Hotel and Resort. Mr Vu added that the fascinating beach activities and the new services would help domestic and foreign visitors to have happy times during their stay in Da Nang - a safe, civilised and attractive destination.
