Matches in the 2^nd round of groups A and B of the 4^th Da Nang Newspaper Football Tournament for primary and junior high school pupils took place at the city’s Tien Son Sports Arena on Wednesday.

In Group A, for primary schools, Ngo Gia Tu trounced Trung Nu Vuong 6-0, whilst Ngo Quyen suffered a 1-2 defeat to Nguyen Du.

After the first 2 rounds, Nguyen Du currently top the Group with 6 points, followed by Ngo Gia Tu and Ngo Quyen, both on 3 points.

Tomorrow, 22 May, there will be matches in the 3^rd round of Group A - Ngo Quyen v Trung Nu Vuong at 7.00am, and Nguyen Du v Ngo Gia Tu at 8.00pm.

In Group B, also for primary schools, Nguyen Binh Khiem had an easy 7-1 win over Tran Van On, whilst Tran Quang Dieu beat Hoa Son No 2 1-0.  As a result, both Nguyen Binh Khiem and Tran Quang Dieu took 6 points, and they have progressed into the semi-finals.

Today, 21 May, there were matches in the 2^nd round for junior high schools - Le Loi v Trung Vuong (Group C), Hoang Dieu v Tran Quy Cap (Group C), Nguyen Binh Khiem v Le Do (Group D), and Phan Dinh Phung v Nguyen Phu Huong (Group D).
