Exciting matches in the 1^st round of groups C and D of the 4^th Da Nang Newspaper Football Tournament for primary and junior high school pupils took place at the city’s Tien Son Sports Arena on Tuesday.

In Group C, for junior high schools, defending champions Le Loi suffered a 1-0 loss to Hoang Dieu, whilst Tran Quy Cap beat Trung Vuong 3-1.

In Group D, also for junior high schools, Phan Dinh Phung had a 4-2 win over Le Do, and Nguyen Phu Huong claimed a 2-2 draw against Nguyen Binh Khiem.

Today, 20 May, there were matches in the 2^nd round for primary schools - Ngo Gia Tu v Trung Nu Vuong (Group A), Nguyen Du v Ngo Quyen (Group A), Tran Van On v Nguyen Binh Khiem (Group B), and Hoa Son 2 v Tran Quang Dieu (Group B).
