Khue Trung Village Festival
The Khue Trung Village Festival took place at the Hoa Vang Martyr’s Cemetery in Da Nang’s Cam Le District on 3 and 4 May (the 15th and 16th days of the 3rd lunar month).
The 2-day event featured a sacrificial offering ceremony in commemoration of the thousands of soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation during the resistance against French and Spanish coalition forces between 1858 and 1860. In addition, there were other solemn rituals such as incense offering ceremonies at the Ba Temple and a worshipping ceremony for the souls of the dead at the cemetery.
