Photo exhibition entitled "Relics and Festivals" on until 25 May
A photo exhibition entitled “Relics and Festivals” is taking place at the Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple on 15 Ha Thi Than Street in Da Nang’s Son Tra District between 18 and 25 May. It is being jointly organised by the city’s Centre of Cultural Heritage Management and the Son Tra District Culture-Sport Centre.
85 photos about historical relics and festivals across the city in recent years are on display. They have been selected from hundreds of beautiful and valuable photos taken by local researchers, reporters and amateur photographers.
The exhibits showcase the beauty of the local village communal houses and the archaeological relics from the Sa Huynh and Champa cultures.
In addition, there are photos of antiques such as bronze bells, horizontal lacquered boards and ancient tombs, as well as those of historical sites bearing the stamp of the struggle of local residents during the two resistance wars. They also feature impressive images of local traditional festivals like the ‘Cau Ngu’ and village communal house festivals.
