Team Britain for Newborns to compete in VNG IRONMAN
David Lloyd, Graham Knight and Frederik Farina from Team Britain for Newborns will participate in the VNG IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam Triathlon which will take place in Da Nang on Sunday 10 May.
Their aim is to raise funds for Newborns Vietnam which is a British charity based in Da Nang. The organisation works to reduce infant mortality in Viet Nam by donating life-saving equipment and providing training courses for neonatal nurses and doctors under the guidance of British specialists.
The international triathlon, which is the first of its kind to be held in Viet Nam, is expected to attract over 1,000 athletes from 53 countries and territories. They will compete in a 1.9km swim from the beach at the Hyatt Regency, a 90km bike ride and a 21.1km run.
