Matches in the 2^nd round of the finals of the 2015 Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper U21 Football Tournament took place in Ho Chi Minh City last weekend.

In Group A, An Giang booked a ticket into the semi-finals after their 4-3 win over Thua Thien Hue on 22 October and a 3-1 win over Ho Chi Minh City on 24 October.  Thua Thien Hue defeated Hoang Anh Gia Lai 3-2 last Saturday.

In Group B, Ha Noi T& T currently top the group with 6 points after beating Binh Dinh 3-0 and Sana Khanh Hoa 1-0.  Sana Khanh Hoa was knocked out of the tournament after losing 1-2 to SHB Da Nang on 23 October.  SHB DN then suffered a disappointing 1-2 defeat to Binh Dinh on Sunday.  With their 3 points, the local team still has the opportunity to go into the semis if they can beat Ha Noi T&T on 27 October.

Today, 26 October, there are matches between Hoang Anh Gia Lai and An Giang at 3.30pm in the District No 8 Stadium, and Ho Chi Minh City and Thua Thien Hue also at 3.30pm in the Thong Nhat Stadium.
