The Kawasaki-Tran Local Foods Viet Nam International Series 2015 badminton tournament ended at Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon after 4 days of competition.

This year’s event saw the participation of around 150 players from Viet Nam, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines.

Vietnamese players Vu Thi Trang and Pham Cao Cuong unfortunately fell short of expectations when they failed to qualify for the finals.  However, competitors from Indonesia were very successful in all the competition’s categories. 

In the mixed doubles’ final Indonesian pair Rian Swastedian and Masita Mahmudin beat their Malaysian rivals Tan Kian Meng and Peck Yen Wei.

Hardianto Hardianto and Kenas Adi Haryanto, also from Indonesia, won the men’s doubles title, whilst the Indonesian duo of Gebby Ristiyani Imawan and Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah triumphed in the women’s doubles. 

Goh Jin Wei and Krishna Adi Nugraha, again from Indonesia, respectively won the women's and men’s singles titles.
