Trinh Nguyen Hong Minh, a 4^th grade pupil at Huynh Ngoc Hue Primary School in Da Nang’s Thanh Khe District won the first prize, worth 500 million VND, at the Voice Kid Viet Nam 2015, which was held in Ho Chi Minh City last Saturday.

Minh, who was coached by musician Ho Hoai Anh and singer Luu Huong Giang, won the hearts of the judging board and audience members with her performance of a Hue royal ritual singing item. She also demonstrated her amazing skill by playing ‘Dan Tranh’ (16-chord zither) to accompany her singing.

Musician Hoai Anh highly praised Hong Minh for a great performance with her impressive voice and strong vocal range.  In addition, the sweet and angelic 9-year-old left a deep impression on the audience.
