The qualifying rounds of the 2015 Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper U21 Football Tournament took place between 4 and 14 October at 5 stadiums across the country.  This year’s event had a total of 25 teams participating and they competed in a round-robin format.

After the qualifying rounds, the top 8 teams have won through to the finals which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City between 22 October and 1 November.  They are SHB Da Nang, Ha Noi T&T, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Sana Khanh Hoa, An Giang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
