Recently, many cultural and historical researchers in Da Nang attended a talk show to discuss a plan for re-arranging the artifacts at the city’s Museum of Cham Sculpture.

The participants pointed out several shortcomings in the current display of artifacts at the 100-year old museum.  Amongst these was the asynchronous and too simplistic display of exhibits in each gallery, which fails to highlight the beauty of the artifacts on display or satisfy the demands of the visitors.

Under the plan, the museum’s display areas will be re-arranged more effectively in order to organise more cultural events at the museum to attract more visitors and better serve for the needs of individuals and organisations carrying out research or study.  The work will incorporate experiences from other museums worldwide.
