To mark the 98th anniversary of Russia's October Revolution (1917 - 2015), the ‘Viet Nam-Russia Friendly Melodies’ musical programme took place at the Da Nang Children’s House on Tuesday. The purpose was to enhance the warm bilateral friendship between the 2 countries.
The event featured 14 impressive singing and dancing items performed by local children from the Da Nang Children’s House, and guests from an arts troupe from Russia’s Irkutsk Province. Included were Russian songs which are well-known to Vietnamese people and live forever in their hearts and minds, such as 'Kachiusa', 'Pepita Song', and 'Matxcova in the Afternoon'.
