On display are the 100 most outstanding photos selected from the 4,740 entries in the contest, both single images and photo sets, taken by 537 domestic and foreign photographers. They showcase the beauty of the natural and cultural heritage of Viet Nam, and Binh Thuan Province in particular.
The photo contest is divided into 4 categories: nature, tangible heritage, intangible heritage, and life. It aims to advertise Viet Nam’s image as a beautiful and peaceful country to international friends, as well as raise public awareness about preserving and promoting the values of Vietnamese heritage.
From 9 November these 100 photos will then be exhibited at the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture in recognition of the 100th birthday of the museum, and the exhibition will run until 9 March 2016.
