Indian film festival takes place in Viet Nam for first time

The inaugural Indian Film Festival Viet Nam (IFFV) will take place from December 12-23 in Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh.
The festival will screen eight films made by 14 renowned Indian directors.
As part of the festival some Indian filmmakers will attend a seminar on cinema cooperation between the two countries and visit Viet Nam’s landscapes in order to seek beautiful places for their films.

The festival will offer the Viet Nam community an opportunity to learn about India's culture and long history of filmmaking.
It is held by the Indian Embassy in Viet Nam in collaboration with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
