National final of 2015 Vietnam TI MCU Design Contest
The national final of the 2015 Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge Vietnam MCU Design Contest took place at the Da Nang University of Science and Technology on Wednesday.
A total of 3 teams from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology (DUT), 2 teams from the Ha Noi University of Science of Technology (HUST), 3 from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), and 1 from the Can Tho University participated.
In the end, a team from HCMUT won first prize for their ‘Smart Wall Clock’ model, a team from DUT came second for their ‘Smart Chair’ model, whilst a team from HUST were placed third for their ‘Remote Health-measuring Tool’.
Co-organised by the USA’s Texas Instruments Company along with universities and colleges across Viet Nam, the contest aims to create a scientific research playground for all students involved in electrical and electronics design, communications, information technology and microcontrollers.
