The SHB Da Nang players are finding it very hard to concentrate on their training sessions at the SHB DN Sports Centre in Lien Chieu District as they prepare for the 2016 V-League season which is expected to begin on 14 February 2016.

The main cause of concern is the operation of an open-cast quarry near the centre which is adversely affecting the living and health conditions of the footballers.  In particular, the stone exploitation there has been causing cracks to appear in their accommodation.  Also, debris from the quarry is being thrown into the local club's training ground, causing danger for the players.

In addition, the entrance to the sports centre is always flooded when it rains because there is no drainage system there.

SHB DN has another worry in that the Chi Lang Stadium has not yet been upgraded to meet the requirements of the Viet Nam Football Professional Joint Stock Company (VPF) for next season.
