Approval has been given by the Da Nang authorities for a contest to find suggestions for floral displays and lighting decorations for the 2017 Tet festival.

After the best ideas are selected, the municipal Construction Planning Institute will team up with the Green Trees-Park Company, and the Public Lighting Management and Operation Company, to estimate the number of decorative flowers and the costs of the decoration work.  Appeals for donations will be made to the general public to implement the ideas for floral displays and lighting decorations to celebrate the Tet festival.

The district-level People’s Committees will appeal for local businesses to decorate some of the districts’ streets for Tet.
